Introducing the 4Ps Model of Transitioning to Distance Learning: A convergent mixed methods study conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic

Significant concern has been raised regarding the effect of COVID-19 on medical education. This study aimed to shed light distance learning experiences students and their instructors at Mohammed Bin Rashid University Medicine Health Sciences (MBRU) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. A convergent mixed methods approach was utilized. Qualitative quantitative data collected using a survey closed-ended followed by open-ended questions. The percentage total average satisfaction among stakeholders 76.4%. qualitative analysis led developing 4Ps Model Transitioning Distance Learning, which encapsulates four interrelated themes. It would be helpful leverage lessons learned tailor blended programs with reasonable mélange experiences. also contributes research showcasing means adapting it evaluate critical situations reliably rapidly.
